Debt Collective is the nation’s first union for debtors.

Since Occupy Wall Street, our relentless organizing has helped secure the abolition of billions in student loans belonging to millions of people. Just as important, we’ve expanded our movement to include tenants fighting for rent cancellation and social housing, medical debtors fighting for debt relief and universal health care, and community members organizing against school lunch debt and for free school meals.

Here’s what to expect from Debt Collective’s In the Red Substack: we’ll be sharing newsletter-style roundups, which will highlight our ongoing work and upcoming events. We’ll also share throwback zine content, inspiring debtor stories, multimedia as well as visual and literary art!
